How adoption works
Three steps to a new best friend
Adopting is simpler than most people think. Here is the whole process.
Apply
Fill in a short form about your home. It takes about five minutes.
Meet & adopt
The shelter contacts you, you meet the pet, and you take them home.
Why adopt
Every adoption saves two lives
You give a home
One pet leaves the shelter, and the free space saves the next one.
Ready to go
Most rescues are already vaccinated, chipped and health checked.
They know
Rescued animals bond deeply. Ask anyone who has adopted one.
You support shelters
Every adoption frees up food, space and time for animals still waiting.
